Juan Carlos Linares

Juan Carlos Linares started DBM Colombia in 1995 and since then DBM has been the leading outplacement company in the country. Besides his role as president he is also a consultant for senior executive programs and leads the consulting practice for large downsizing projects, mergers and acquisitions.

Before joining DBM, Juan Carlos was Vice president of Public Affairs of Maxus Energy and previously worked for Occidental Petroleum Company Int. In both roles he was responsible for developing external and internal communication strategies to support business operations for these multinational companies.

Juan Carlos is a Corporate lawyer. He actively participates with articles, lectures, presentations in several of the largest newspapers, magazines and universities in Colombia. He is an active member of the Colombian HR association and the Colombo American Chamber of Commerce.
